Handcrafted Antique Reproduction Hand Painted Chinoiserie Mirror. This extra large wall mirror has been painstakingly handmade including being hand painted by Asian artists. Crafted from imported natural bamboo in the 19th century Brighton Pavilion style, it is in excellent condition. The artists used the age-old technique of applying gesso to give the figures in the borders dimension. Top and bottom end canes have antiques brass end caps. A high quality reproduction, the mirror was made in 2003 by Stefan Cavallos Mirror Fair in New York City (Manhattan), NY. Cavallos company has been in business and in the same family for 100 years. The mirror is registered and there is a certificate of authentication as well as a registration number on the back. A classic beauty, this piece will be tomorrows heirloom.
