LARGE VINTAGE ART DECO 1930s OVAL-CHROMED FRAMED BEVELLED EDGE WALL MIRROR. 29.0" W x 21.0"H General Description and Condition Art Deco (1930s) Exquisite Vintage Oval Chrome Frame/Crest/Chain. This Large beautiful Art Deco Oval shape bevelled edge wall mirror with its exquisite Chromed crest that matches its very strong chrome mirror chain together with its chrome finished frame, comes off so well with its bevelled mirror glass with its unique pattern spread of foxing(tiny age dot marks). The crest centrally positioned at the crown matches well in an exquisite way with the general clean and clear appearance of the mirror glass surface. This simplistic mirror is most definitely one with a touch of class!!!
The glass surface is generally clean and clear does have a few marks due to age but this isn't obviously noticeable, the frame has odd superficial age related marking. Glass surface no scratch marks but has small area of marking to mirror and small rear chip to glass mirror (see Photos). Again, these are fair wear and tear age related blemishes.
The spread of the discolouration marks on the frame over the many decades of this mirrors history, are characteristic identifiers of the vintage quality and value of the mirror of this antique classic piece. The rear is with a very strong mirror chain , have made this mirror a beautiful nostalgic icon of the Art Deco era.
