I bought this at our local Bombay store when it was going out of business. I got a good deal partly because the latch was broken.

My husband was able to fix it by soldering (see photo 4). Even with that repaired and the doors closed they don't sit flat against the mirror (see photo 5). It's not a large gap and doesn't get in the way or detract from the beauty of the mirror.
