French Art Deco Wrought Iron Wall Mirror, Large and Especially Beautiful

Offering a classic Art Deco vintage mirror most likely from the 20s or 30s, French hand-wrought iron with a hand-beveled mirror. The gold color (paint) is probably not original but its attractive and can (relatively) easily be removed.

The design is tops, with stylized floral motifs and classic pyramiding shapes. Lots of decorative hammering throughout the iron. Its quite large and can serve as a central design element for a wall or a room, being 36 ½ inches overall in width. It measures 16 top to bottom; you can add another 12 inches to that when the chain is extended for hanging, a total of about 28 inches top to bottom. The bevel is about ¾, a generous size.

The glass is in excellent overall condition, with only a few very tiny spots where the elements have blackened the silvering. The glass itself measures 19 ¼ wide by 14 ½ high.
