This Large Antique American Federal Eagle Convex Gold Wood Wall Portal Mirror is in great vintage condition. It has a few paint defects as shown in the pictures. It measures approximately 31 inches tall and 23 inches wide. From an estate we are cleaning out.
Looking closely there looks to be a couple chips that happened in manufacturing of this mirror that were filled and touched up, also a small fracture in the wood near the mirror which was common occurrence as the wood cured. These flaws are only noticeable with very close observations and what I have learned are very common in these hand made and carved mirrors.
