Pair Rococo Style Wall Mirrors-Gold Highlights, Distressed

A superb pair of large mirrors, framed in wood with antique matt-gold highlights in the Rococo style. Much of the carved wood is totallly exposed with only hints of gold (see photo 4). They are beautifully done and handsomely carved. The mirror glasses are excellent (fine glass and sliver) and shaped to match the framing.

The carved work is of high relief and the mirrors are in beautiful condition with only a few small and scattered losses and checks. Modern reinforcements at the back. Crowns arch forward into the room approximately 9.

Large, and wonderful for a parlor, Victorian, or Georgian styled room, or as elegant accents in any room.
