Vintage Large Italian Florentine Oval Giltwood Mirror / Painting Frame Only

Large oval vintage Italian Florentine Giltwood wall Frame for Mirror or Painting in great condition. The frame looks like it has never been used and it dates from the mid 20th century.

The original paper label is still on the back that states it was made in Italy. There was never a mirror inserted and therefore the frame does not have the attachments on the back with wire for hanging. It can be hanged either vertically or horizontally. The frame is made of solid wood which has a lovely Italian Florentine gold gilt finish.

The entire frame measures 27" wide X 34" height X 2 thickness. The width of the frame from the front is 3 1/4. The back of the frame where a mirror or painting can be inserted is 21 1/2" wide X 28" height.

We see one or two space openings where the joints of the wood are, but it is only on the back. The front looks great with one gap on the wood at the width of thickness that again is not anything noticeable. Please look at all the photos as they are part of the description.
